Week 2 will bring in PC, and Xbox Series X/S players - but PlayStation 5 players can also join in for a second go. It ends Monday, July 24 at 12am PT / 3am ET / 8am BST / 9am CEST. It kicks off Friday, July 21 at 1am PT / 4am ET / 9am BST / 10am CEST. The Tekken 8 closed network test will be available over two sessions. Unfortunately, the test is only meant for 1v1 ranked matches, so you won't be able to do much of anything else. This is going to be a meaty package, too, with 16 characters to choose from, five stages, and cross-platform matchmaking.

The test will be available on all three platforms the game is releasing on - so PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S. A maintenance window will be on 21 July from 1 pm to 4 pm PT.Tekken 8 is getting a closed network test next month, Bandai Namco announced today.

From 1 am PT on 21 July until 12 pm PT on 24 July, PS5 players will have early access to participate. The closed network test will follow a set schedule. Players will have access to five stages and the broad roster to showcase the game’s diversity. The network test video subtly hinted at Claudio’s inclusion as a playable character. Some familiar names include Kazuya, Jin, King, Jun, Paul, Law, Jack-8, Lars, Xiaoyu, Nina, Leroy, Asuka, Lili, Hwoarang, Bryan and Claudio. A total of 16 playable characters will be included in the test. However, Bandai Namco has already revealed some info about the restricted network test. There is currently no firm release date for the game, which is being developed for PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S. This chapter also introduces the game’s new Heat system, which allows players to unleash a more powerful version of their chosen character. But now it is Kazuya’s son, Jin Kazama, who is facing off against his father. The conflict between Heihachi and Kazuya Mishima was at the center of Tekken 7. Set a few years after the events of its predecessor, Tekken 8 picks up the action to continue the hugely popular franchise.
